When searching for products, you will have more success if you only use the most important search options, and leave the others at their default settings. Do not feel as though you need to select something for each option. For example, if you need letter openers for $1.00 or under, you will get more products to choose from by selecting a category and price range, without using the other search criteria. Being too specific might rule out items that would work perfectly for your promotion, but their description varies slightly from what you are currently have in mind.

Choosing a Product Category
To choose a product category, think of the most basic element of the product that you require. For example, if you are looking for a green ceramic coffee mug, the word "mug" would be the product itself, and the words "green", "ceramic", and "coffee" are words used to describe the mug. Once you determine what this basic element is, scroll down our list of pre-selected categories until you find one that matches. If you scroll down the category list, you will see the category "mugs and steins", which you can then select by highlighting it with your cursor. Sometimes you will be looking for an item, but you can’t find it in our category listing. If this happens, consider other words that might be used to mean the same thing as the product you require. For example, another word for a hat is a cap. When I scroll down the categories I do not see the word "hat", but if I check under caps I find "caps and hats". I can then select the "caps & hats" category to do the search that I need. If you continue to have difficulty choosing a category, just leave the product category box at its default setting of "all" and try searching by keyword. See below for some quick category tips:

Wordsearch
The keyword search can be used on its own, or together with any other of our search options. You can specify the adjectives that describe the object that you need in the box, then use the pulldown box to the right to specify how the search should handle those words. This pulldown box lists the options "exact phrase", "all words", and "any words". The "exact phrase" selection will search only for items that include your keywords exactly in the order in which they’ve been entered in the box. "All words" would look for items whose descriptions include all the words that have been entered, but those words can appear in any order. Finally, the "any words" selection will search for matches that have at least one word that you’ve typed in the keyword search box. See the following table for some comparison searches:

Search Results
Once you click the "Search" button, the product lines that carry the products you are looking for will be listed. Select the product line you are interested in and review their product listing. To view the item and the quantity pricing, click on the highlighted item number.
